Our commitment
We aim to get every fact right. When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and openly.
How to report an error
If you spot an error in any article, please contact us through the Contact page and include a link to the article and a description of the error. The more detail you give, the faster we can check it.
How corrections work
We check the reported error against the original sources. If a correction is needed, we update the article and note the correction on the article itself for material changes, so readers can see what changed. Minor spelling and formatting fixes may be made without a note.
Retractions
If a story turns out to be fundamentally wrong, we will remove it or publish a clear retraction explaining why, rather than quietly deleting it.
